Concern over public safety has seen a trucking company ordered to cease operations pending the completion of a court-ordered review.

Stuff reports St Arnaud-based McCrostie Trucking has accumulated more than 100 traffic-related offences in the last 14 years, including for overloading, vehicles not up to CoF standard, and speeding. Its trucks have also failed 34 roadside inspections for brake faults, damaged towing connections, and poor tyre tread.
