He is co-owner of, and Principal Consultant with GYST Consulting Pty Ltd and developer of the acclaimed Care Factor Program. Clive has spent the last 20 years assisting organisations to improve their safety performance by developing trust and psychological safety and by doing Safety Differently. He has worked with global mining, oil & gas, construction and utilities companies in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, USA, Canada, South Africa, Norway, Singapore, China, UAE, PNG, KSA, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands, Finland, Latvia and Costa Rica. He is the author of Amazon #1 best-selling book “Next Generation Safety Leadership: From Compliance to Care”.
Clive’s background is in clinical and coaching psychology. He has over 30 years of coaching experience working with people in all levels of management and leadership (from the boardroom to the shop floor).

Andi is a blue-sky thinker and trusted advisor with 25 years’ experience developing innovative solutions to radically and measurably improve business performance and people outcomes. Her approach is rooted in understanding human behaviour and motivation, leveraging diverse qualifications in business leadership, psychology, and safety science. She has successfully delivered complex and large-scale workforce transformation programs, strategy projects, critical risk / HSE system redesigns and sensitive post-fatality interventions.

Internationally recognised, Andi has authored numerous articles on culture, risk, the psychology of safety, mental health and worker-led problem solving. She has collaborated with some of the world’s most cutting-edge business leaders and global authorities on health and safety to compile the acclaimed book "One Percent Safer“. 

Prior to joining veyter in 2024, Andi was a Senior Partner for 15 years at EY and Deloitte.

Amy is a strategy designer with over 15 years of experience helping organisations to tackle complex challenges and create transformative strategies. She specialises in designing innovative operating models and delivering programs that drive meaningful health, safety, and sustainability outcomes.

Known for her high energy and collaborative style, Amy is passionate about putting people at the heart of every solution. Her approach combines strong facilitation, coaching, and program design, always with a relentless focus on user experience.

Amy was instrumental in designing and developing a global Health and Safety Maturity Model that has powered transformation programs worldwide. She has shared her insights at conferences, webinars, and events, and loves connecting with audiences to inspire fresh thinking.

Dr Joseph Bain is a Chartered Professional Engineer and the co-founder of the New Zealand Society for Engineering Safety, where he currently serves as the vice-Chair. He is a Fellow of Engineering New Zealand and is the ENZ appointee to the Governance Group of HASANZ. In his day job, Joe is the Operations Director of Motovated Design & Analysis. His practice is centred on engineering work governed by HSWA, including frequent engagements as an expert witness for regulators and lawyers.

Jon plays an essential role at CHASNZ, undertaking key initiatives and researching innovative solutions that contribute to the organisation’s aspirations for world-class construction health and safety. Before CHASNZ was formed, Jon was the GM of the Construction Safety Council.

Jon’s passion for helping people has motivated him through a varied career. Arriving in New Zealand in 2014, Jon worked mainly in the construction and transportation sectors for client and constructor organisations. Previously, Jon was Head of Health, Safety, and Environment in the UK for a global research and consultancy business that worked internationally, including in the Middle East and Africa. Before this, Jon worked as a Pavement Engineer and had a career in the military working with Ammunition and Explosives.

Jon lives in West Auckland with his wife, Liz, and their two cats, Daisy and Colin.  Jon sees himself as a keen but below-average surfer and golfer.  He runs, cycles, and swims for fitness and sometimes ties it together with the occasional triathlon.

Jon is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CFIOSH), a Certified Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management (CertFellNZISM), and a HASANZ registered Health and Safety Professional. Jon has completed degree-level health, safety, and environmental management qualifications and postgraduate studies with Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia.  Jon is currently exploring future safety research opportunities.

Kirsten Patterson (known as KP) is the Chief Executive of the Institute of Directors.  She is a qualified lawyer and a Distinguished Fellow of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand, Co-Deputy Chair of the Global Network of Directors Institutes (GNDI) current Chair of the Brian Picot Ethical Leadership Advisory Board at Victoria University in Wellington, and serves on the Board of the mental health charity, Voices of Hope.  She is a past Chair, and now Ambassador, for Wellington Women’s Homeless Trust. A strong advocate of diversity, KP is a member of Global Women New Zealand and was one of the founding members of Global Women’s ‘Champions for Change’, a group of senior executives and directors who commit to diversity in the workplace. KP was the founder and is Executive Sponsor for Chapter Zero New Zealand – the New Zealand Chapter of the World Economic Forum’s Climate Governance Initiative - hosted by the IoD NZ to mobilise, connect, educate and equip directors and boards to make climate-smart governance decisions, thereby creating long term value for both shareholders and stakeholders.
